Presto Magic Closing – Part 6

The LA Times Newspaper team has been at Presto Magic for the last 4 business days.  They are in the store from open to close. They interview customers, video magic performances, and interview Presto and myself. The last day they will be in the store will be tomorrow. The article will be in the Sunday issue of the LA Times. The movie Desperate Acts of Magic, that was filmed at Presto Magic, finished its one week debut in Hollywood and New York. The movie received great reviews, and is a very fun movie. On opening night Joe Gold, (Producer/Director/Writer) announced to the theater audience that the movie was filmed at Presto Magic. He continued to say that Presto’s will be closing the end of this month. The entire audience jumped to their feet and gave Presto a standing ovation! Presto was in the audience at the time, and almost fainted.
