A Christmas Tale

I just had the most wonderful experience. Picture this; I was shopping in Ralph’s grocery store, wearing the same Santa hat that is in my profile picture. Also wearing a red shirt and suspenders, and riding around in a electronic shopping cart (I am disabled). Combine that with my body type being “fluffy” in nature, I drew attention. Unknowingly wheeling down the aisle to pick up some last minute stocking stuffers, I did not notice the trail of children that was following me through the store.

When I came to a complete stop, they gathered round. Not saying a word just surrounding me with bright smiles. After verifying that they had been good all year, I pulled some chocolate coins out of the air and presented them to each child, (with the nod of approval from the parents who were also now gathered round).

Seeing a child smile can make the world a very nice place to be.
